FIRST TIME MOMS

Transitioning to Motherhood, Connecting with Your Newborn, Creating Your Village
Eight-week series for first time moms

Did you and your family recently welcome your first child? Are you looking for an opportunity to connect with other mamas, learn how to support your baby's development, and begin to develop your parenting style?

First Time Mom groups are a time to bond with your baby, build your community, and participate in hands-on learning to hone your practice of respectful parenting.

We are offering this in-person, outdoor (virtual if raining) support group from our director, Rebecca Walsh.

Each session includes weekly readings and related discussions on a range of topics, including:

  • Navigating parenting challenges during the pandemic

  • Connected, responsive caregiving

  • Nurturing your babies growth and development

  • Marriage/Partnerships after babies

  • Self-care for parents

  • Establishing respectful, playful, and confident parenting

Rainy day meetings will be on Zoom.

The group is open to new mamas 0-4mo.
Note that if you are registering for the series and haven't delivered yet, please put in today's date as the date of birth, since our registration portal doesn't recognize future (due) dates.

    Tuesdays, August 20-October 8, 12:30-2pm with Alexis Buckley, 8-wks, $300
